Speed Limit-Slow Down, put your fork down

Meal Times (best times suggested below)

Breakfast-6:30-9:00am (Big Meal)

Lunch-12noon-1:30pm (Biggest Meal)

Dinner-4:30-7pm (smallest meal)

Breathe-6 deep breaths before, during and after your meal.

Pleasure-awareness and enjoyment of yoiur meal using your senses: sight, smell, taste, touch

Quality of food-choose nutritious foods

To play and rev up your metabolism select your meal time, remembering slower is better. Follow the prompts for a higher score.

Scoring is based on the length of time to eat and earning points with interactive pop ups.

Food Workout

We eat too fast at our house. We rush around getting the meal prepared and then rush through it, too. So this App prompts us to consider what we are doing, helps us be mindful. We don’t use it at every meal, but the prompts to slow down and be aware of what’s going on here & now, beside eating, is a great reminder – especially if you are already jumping ahead thinking about the dishwasher, the trash, the homework, etc. This way the App sets the timing, not me nagging about everyone shoveling food.

Also helpful to have enough time to realize you’re full already: Put Down the Fork. Visit a spell.

Exactly what it needs to be

I am a strict adherer to the philosophy of pleasurable eating, the idea of an app that manages not only to lay out the proper portions and times that should be spent on meals-but also act as entertainment in the process is an absolute benediction. Healthy eating habits are difficult to maintain, which is why FOOD WORKOUT is so well suited to the app store. Having my own eating coach within reach at all times is exactly the way to approach this issue, and FOOD WORKOUT delivers beautifully in this regard.

New Mom...

This App is so great! It's about time someone thought of this. Just in the few times I've "worked out" while eating, I feel this app will be my golden ticket to losing those extra pounds and I'm excited to see the results. Being so busy with the little one, I found it was so easy to start, runs smoothly, love the graphics, and feel my time will be spent more efficiently while eating.
